Because lip tissue is highly vascular, swelling and mild bruising are a completely normal physiological response to injection. Swelling typically peaks within the first 24 to 48 hours post-procedure and can occasionally look slightly uneven initially. By day 3 to 5, the swelling will decline significantly, and your true, beautifully soft result will reveal itself fully by day 14 once the hyaluronic acid has integrated seamlessly into your tissue. We recommend avoiding hot drinks, intense exercise, and alcohol for the first 24 hours to ensure a rapid, comfortable recovery.
