Fed up of looking tired all the time? We offer tear trough filler in our doctor-led Nottingham clinic and ensure your results are natural-looking and seamless. This treatment involves placing filler in to the groove that comes down from the inner corner of our eye, softening the eye bag. Think you- just after a really good sleep!
Not all patients are a good candidate for under-eye filler so we do recommend you book a consultation in the first instance. Dr Jess or Dr Rachael can then assess your anatomy and discuss your desired results. If you suffer with swelling under your eyes, or have significant crepiness, we may advise against tear trough filler and recommend alternatives such as polynucleotides initially instead.
If you have a very flattened cheek area due to volume loss from ageing or weight loss, we often recommend combining this with cheek filler, in order to provide the underlying support the under-eye needs.

Often this is our patient’s biggest concern. In short, no. We use a specialist cannula for treating the medial tear trough to ensure optimum safety and to minimise any downtime. Cannulas are blunt rather than sharp and are considered the safest way to perform treatment in this area. Rest assured our injectors are highly experienced aesthetic doctors.

Under-eye filler can be used to treat the hollowing under the eyes, making you look brighter and more refreshed. Not every patient is suitable for this treatment, and our Doctors can provide alternative recommendations if they advise you are not an appropriate candidate. It is also important to note that tear trough filler does not alter the quality of the skin itself, so often we advise combining with other treatments/ skincare if you have darkness under the skin/ fine lines or crepiness.

Results from under-eye filler typically last 9 to 12 months.

Mild swelling or bruising may occur after having tear trough fillers, but most patients resume normal activities immediately.
