BBL and Moxi Cost in Nottingham: Prices, Packages and What Affects Cost
Seen BBL and Moxi online and wondered what it really costs? Why do prices seem to vary so much from one clinic to the next? And is a course better value than a single session?
BBL and Moxi are two of the most requested laser treatments at our Nottingham clinic, and cost is one of the first questions patients ask. This guide sets out what BBL and Moxi cost at Your Beauty Doctor, what affects the price, and how many sessions you are likely to need, so you can plan with confidence.
How much does BBL and Moxi cost in Nottingham?
At Your Beauty Doctor, combined BBL and Moxi treatment starts from £795. The final cost depends on the area treated and whether you choose a single session or a course.
What BBL and Moxi each do
It helps to understand the two treatments before comparing prices, because you are paying for two different technologies working together.
BBL HEROic is a broadband light treatment. It uses pulses of light to target colour in the skin, such as brown spots, sun damage and redness from broken veins. After treatment, brown spots darken and gradually flake away over one to two weeks.
Moxi is a gentle laser that creates tiny treatment zones in the skin, prompting it to renew itself. It improves texture, tone, fine lines and early sun damage, with very little downtime. Your skin may feel rough, a little like fine sandpaper, for a few days afterwards.
Used together in one appointment, BBL treats the colour and Moxi treats the texture. That is why many patients choose the combination rather than one treatment alone. You can read more on our BBL HEROic and Moxi pages.
What affects the price
Three things make the biggest difference to what you pay.
The area treated. Larger areas take longer and use more of the device, so the face, neck and décolletage costs more than the hands alone.
Single session or course. Most skin concerns respond best to a course, and a course of three is priced to be better value than three single sessions.
One treatment or both. Some patients only need BBL for redness or pigmentation, or only Moxi for texture. Others benefit from both. Your consultation will tell you which you actually need, so you don't pay for more than necessary. You can check our treatment pricing page or reach out to us directly and our team will be there to answer for you. We also offer BBL and Moxi memberships, which spread the cost of maintenance treatments across the year.
How many sessions will you need?
Most patients see the best results from a course of three sessions, spaced around four weeks apart. You will usually notice brighter, more even skin after the first session, with further improvement as the course goes on.
After your course, one or two maintenance sessions a year help keep sun damage and pigmentation under control, especially after the summer months. This is one reason BBL and Moxi are popular in autumn and winter, when there is less sun exposure to work against.
When BBL and Moxi Work Well, and When They Don’t
BBL and Moxi suit you if you have:
brown spots, freckling or sun damage
redness or broken veins on the face
uneven skin tone or dullness
rough texture, enlarged pores or early fine lines
They may not be right for you if:
you have an active tan or recent sun exposure. Treating tanned skin increases the risk of side effects, so we may ask you to wait.
you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
you take medication that makes your skin sensitive to light. Please tell us about any medication at your consultation.
your main concern is active acne. Our Forever Clear BBL acne treatment is designed for breakouts instead.
you have melasma. Melasma needs a careful, doctor-led plan, as the wrong laser settings can make it worse. Our guide to treating melasma with Moxi explains why.
BBL is also not suitable for every skin tone, while Moxi can be used on a wider range. We assess this at your consultation.
Why prices differ between clinics
It is tempting to compare laser treatments on price alone, but the price reflects more than the time in the chair. At Your Beauty Doctor it includes a consultation before treatment, a plan overseen by Dr Jess, treatment with genuine Sciton BBL HEROic and Moxi devices, and aftercare advice. Settings are tailored to your skin rather than a standard setting for everyone. That matters, because the same device can give very different results depending on how it is used.
Dr Jess's insight
"I would always rather a patient does a proper course than a one-off session they can't build on. But I also tell people when to wait. If someone comes in with a fresh tan in September, the kindest thing is to book them in a few weeks later, when we can treat safely and get a far better result." Dr Jessica Halliley
Every BBL and Moxi treatment at our clinic is planned by Dr Jess and delivered by our trained team.

Frequently Asked Questions about BBL and Moxi Cost
How much does BBL and Moxi cost at Your Beauty Doctor?
Combined BBL and Moxi treatment for the face and neck at Your Beauty Doctor starts at £350 for a course of three. Hands and larger areas are priced separately.
Is a course of BBL and Moxi cheaper than single sessions?
Yes. A course of three BBL and Moxi sessions costs less than booking three single sessions, and most skin concerns respond best to a course. Your consultation will confirm how many sessions you need.
Is there a BBL and Moxi membership?
Yes. Our BBL and Moxi membership spreads the cost of maintenance treatments across the year. It suits patients who have finished a course and want to keep their results.
How long do BBL and Moxi results last?
BBL and Moxi results can last a long time, but new sun damage builds up over time. Most patients keep their results with one or two maintenance sessions a year and daily SPF.
Does BBL and Moxi hurt?
Most patients find BBL and Moxi very manageable. BBL feels like a warm snap against the skin, and Moxi like a light prickling heat. A numbing cream can be used for comfort, and any warmth settles within a few hours.
